School Uniform

Melton Specialist School has a ‘Dress Code’ policy and we ask that our community support this by ensuring their child is in school uniform every school day. Wearing our school uniform is important in establishing a strong sense of school identity and pride. The uniform details are listed below.  There is an option of purchasing a ‘Class of Year’ tops for Grade 6 and Year 12 students at the beginning of each year.  There are many different clothing options available to cater to the various seasonal needs and preferences of students.

SCHOOL UNIFORM IS COMPULSORY AT OUR SCHOOL

  • In 2018 we are introducing uniform pieces that are embroidered with the school’s logo. There is a 12 month transition period for all families to change over to the new school uniform. Students are expected to be in the new full school uniform at the beginning of 2019.
  • All of our uniform pieces are available to be purchased directly from the school uniform shop in early 2018 and some of the generic pieces can be purchased from local department stores.
  • Please ensure that all student clothing and personal possessions are clearly marked.
