In the interest of ‘looking after our environment’, newsletters, most notices, school documents and policies are available online. Look out for the icon in the dates to remember section of the newsletter that indicates the notice is available on the website.

A copy of the newsletter is available fortnightly on a Friday on this website, on TiqBiz and is sent to families via email. The newsletter is a vital link between school staff and the school community. It includes a range of important information and is our main avenue of communication. Please ensure that we have your current email address or you have downloaded the TiqBiz app on your device. Paper copies are also available at the office for those families not on email.

School Uniform

Melton Specialist School has a ‘Dress Code’ policy and we ask that our community support this by ensuring their child is in school uniform every school day. The uniform can be purchased directly from local clothing suppliers.

Wearing our school uniform is important in establishing a strong sense of school identity and pride. The school colours are navy blue and sky blue for Junior and Middle Years students. Later Years students wear black and maroon and there is an option of purchasing a special bomber jacket if your child is in Year 12. There are many different clothing options available to cater to the various seasonal needs and preferences of students. Please see below for the options that are available to be worn by your child.
